This is why texture mods are rarely ported. I'm using a texture replacer for Blaze of Eventide, which isn't available for SE, and its been working perfectly fine. Try it, install an oldrim texture mod in SE and it'll work fine. Both versions of the game use the same file types. As for how to undo your install so you can re-do it, I don't know.
